Workers of the World after COVID-19

The Workers of the World After COVID-19 series explores the future of work post COVID-19. The series seeks to understand how COVID-19 is reshaping the world of work in the Global South. It highlights the impact of the pandemic on employment, unionisation, working conditions and living standards and asks if and how governments around the world used the pandemic as an opportunity to weaken collective bargaining, dilute labour laws and make their countries more investor friendly at the cost of health, working and living conditions of workers.
